 Do You Have A Story To Tell?

Novel is always looking for new stories to feature.  If you are interested in submitting a story for review, please email us your pitch at: clinville@novelpodcast.net.

We look for fictional stories (which can be inspired by true events) which explore deep archetypical questions about humanity through storytelling.

Here are some further guidelines:

1. Target length: A ten-episode season, with each episode lasting 15 to 20 minutes
2. Send us a pitch which outlines:
•  The overall story arch 
• The deeper question(s) to be explored
• What makes the story grab the listener's attention
• Why you chose to explore your particular question
3. Additionally, please include a brief description of yourself and some examples of former works
4. The story may exist in any world, make-believe or otherwise, but must fit within roughly ten episodes (don't bite off more than you can chew)
5. The story must be clean
6. The story must lend itself to music
7. Disclaimer: Novel prioritizes collaboration with its writers and vocal artists, and is dedicated to producing the best product possible.  To insure consistency between episodes and seasons, Novel reserves the right to make final creative and producing decisions

One final note:  Because Novel is a young, independent podcast, we lack the ability to provide any monetary compensation at this time.

Want to advertise on the show?

Podcast advertising is considered to be one of the very best way to reach a target audience.  Podcast ads are heard rather than ignored like banner ads or skipped by channel surfing like radio. Additionally, because of the personal nature of podcasting, podcast listeners form a trusting relationship with the podcast hosts.  This means that outreach is much more likely to be effective.
