Hi, my name if Jeff Yarrow (Shannon already knows me) and I am Josh's dad. What can I say to all of you but to say THANK YOU for writing and producing a quality piece of art. You are all blessed with amazing talent and I believe your work will impact many people to bring hope and redemption in our broken world. It has been nearly a year (July 21, 2020) since Josh fell from Dragon's Tail and relocated to heaven to be with His savior, Jesus.
As I move forward in dealing and processing with the end of his short 20 year earthly life this story has helped bring hope and healing. Like Andrew the pain in this is alway present and will be for my entire life, but the pain is eased with memories and rest (is: the Wildering People, the Story Teller, and the Valley). I am already having opportunities, like Andrew, to talk to people like Ignacio who are trying to deal with pain and loss.
I have read a quote from the book of Corinthians that says "He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give the them same comfort God has give us"
You see, I believe that our pain and suffering is real weather it is caused by death, chronic illness, anxiety, loss of a job, relationship problems and more. At some point everyone will face real pain and suffering that can never be understood until that time comes. I hate it that we have this pain but I also believe it is to be used to help and encourage others who experience the same. suffering. For me I am in the "'I am one who lost a child' Club" and so ask for strength, persistence and fortitude to someone help others in the same "club."
